Position Summary: **
MSI is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates for potential long-term and short-term technical staff positions for anticipated USAID funded democracy and governance projects in Honduras. The anticipated projects seek to promote rule of law, anti-corruption/transparency, and more inclusive, transparent, and effective municipal governance.
MSI seeks Technical Specialists in the following areas:
- Rule of law and criminal justice reform
- Anti-corruption, transparency & accountability
- Public administration
- Local governance
- Civil society strengthening, engagement, and advocacy
- Financial and administration management
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Communication
Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience working on democracy and governance issues, in Honduras or Central America.
- Demonstrated capability to work with broad-range of government and civil society stakeholders and partners.
- Prior experience working on USAID or other donor-funded technical assistance projects strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, management and reporting skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken Spanish (Level IV) and English (High Level III or Level IV) required.
