The Volunteer’s Role
The overall purpose of the Microfinance Advisor is to advice and support to the Executive Presidency of Fundación Covelo, in the design and implementation of the Strategic Plan and the Operational Plan, with greater emphasis on financial aspects, business and the design of new products and services.
As a volunteer, you will:
Institutional and financial and economic management evaluation. (Diagnosis)
Evaluation of the current Strategic Plan and finance products for small and rural businesses
Support in the preparation of the Strategy to design new projects
Preparation of institutional documents support
Evaluation of new business areas related to the microfinance activity
Essential Academic Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration or other relevant combination of studies and experience
Essential Professional Background:
- Preferably financial experience, either in private banks, development banks or development cooperation agencies, with emphasis on business areas or financial product designs and strategic planning.
